I find ways to make words work. Whether I'm crafting corporate communications strategy, drafting an essay, planning a lecture, finalizing a manuscript or putting together a speech, my goal is always the same: reward the reader.
I believe words must engage. Say something surprising. Challenge assumptions. Enlighten, enlarge, entertain. Make someone care.
I also believe this: "Nothing goes by luck in composition. It allows of no tricks. The best you can write will be the best you are."
- Henry David Thoreau.
